The POCO C65 is a smartphone that offers a lot of features for a budget-friendly price. It was launched in November 2023 and is available in India, the Philippines, and some other markets. Here are some of the highlights of this device:

  • Display: The POCO C65 has a 6.74-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass and has a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 260 ppi density. The display is bright and responsive, and supports adaptive refresh rate to save battery life.
  • Performance: The POCO C65 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, which is a 12nm octa-core processor with two Cortex-A75 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.8 GHz. The GPU is a Mali-G52 MC2, which can handle casual gaming and graphics-intensive tasks. The phone comes with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM, and supports an additional 8GB RAM expansion. The internal storage options are 128GB or 256GB, which can be further expanded up to 1TB via a dedicated microSD card slot.
  • Camera: The POCO C65 has a dual rear camera setup, consisting of a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and phase detection autofocus, and a 2MP macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The main camera can capture detailed and sharp photos in good lighting conditions, and has features like HDR, panorama, and night mode. The macro camera can take close-up shots of small objects, but the quality is not very impressive. The rear camera can also record 1080p videos at 30fps. The front camera is an 8MP sensor with an f/2.0 aperture, which can take decent selfies and support face unlock. The front camera can also record 1080p videos at 30fps.
  • Battery: The POCO C65 has a 5000mAh Li-Po battery, which can provide a long-lasting performance. The phone supports 18W wired fast charging, which can charge the battery from 0 to 50% in about 40 minutes. The phone also supports power delivery, which means it can charge other devices via a USB Type-C cable.
  • Software: The POCO C65 runs on Android 13, which is the latest version of the operating system. The phone also has the MIUI 14 for POCO interface, which is a customized skin that adds some extra features and customization options. The MIUI 14 for POCO has a dark mode, a floating window, a game turbo, a privacy protection, and a POCO launcher, among others. The software is smooth and user-friendly, but it also has some bloatware and ads that can be annoying.
  • Other features: The POCO C65 has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, which is fast and reliable. The phone also has a 3.5mm headphone jack, a dual SIM slot, a micro-USB port, an FM radio, and a loudspeaker. The phone supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC (in some regions), and 4G LTE connectivity. The phone has a plastic body and a matte finish, and comes in three colors: black, blue, and purple.

The POCO C65 is a great choice for anyone who is looking for a smartphone that offers a lot of value for money. The phone has a large and smooth display, a decent performance, a good battery life, and a satisfactory camera. The phone also has a modern design and a user-friendly software. The phone is not perfect, however, as it has some drawbacks, such as a low-resolution screen, a mediocre macro camera, a micro-USB port, and some software issues.
